The final event in the 2022 Pinty's Grand Slam of Curling wrapped up this weekend as Team Gushue and Team Einarson won their tournaments at the 2022 Champions Cup.

Twelve of the best men's teams and 12 of the best women's teams met for the six days of competition in Olds, Alta.

Canada's Brad Gushue won his second Champions Cup, taking down Kevin Koe in the all-Canadian final on the men's side. His crew grabbed eight points over the first five ends to secure their victory.

On the women's side, Canada's Kerri Einarson earned his first ever Champions Cup win by defeating Eun-Ji Gim and her team from South Korea. They had previously lost to the South Korean team in the round robin, but avenged their loss in the finals.

For the women's tournament, Rachel Homan and Team Ontario have won three out of the five tournaments. Jennifer Jones' team earned the win in 2016 for Ontario while Switzerland's Silvana Tirinzoni won in 2019.
