Australia and New Zealand will play each other on Saturday, October 2.
The match is scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm local time (8:00 pm NZDT).
Despite the World Cup officially commencing last week, Saturday will mark both teams' first match of the tournament.
Part of the same Super 12 group, Australia and New Zealand will go on to play four more matches each before the semi-final participants are confirmed.
