Alphonso Davies can't stop scoring.

The 16-year-old Canadian phenom, who tallied a brace in his CONCACAF Gold Cup debut against French Guiana last week to become the youngest goal-scorer in tournament history, scored the game's first goal as Canada faced Costa Rica on Tuesday night.

Canada's Davies makes big splash

In the 26th minute, Davies pounced on a rolling cross from teammate Scott Arfield and smashed the ball past the Costa Rican goalkeeper, surprising the Central Americans who thought they had the threat covered.

It was Davies' third goal of the tournament and the third of his young international career so far. Canada's lead was short-lived as the Ticos equalized in the 42nd minute, with no more scoring to come from either side in a 1-1 draw.
