The Cleveland Cavaliers picked up their 50th win of the season, beating the New York Knicks 123-109 at Madison Square Garden.

The victory clinched the Central Division title for the Cavs and pulled them to within a half-game of the Philadelphia 76ers, who currently hold the third seed in the Eastern Conference.

LeBron James led the way with 26 points and 11 assists, while Kevin Love scored 28 points.

J.R. Smith and Jordan Clarkson added 16 points each for the Cavaliers, who are beginning to put together some momentum as they welcome back a host of injured players.

George Hill and Jose Calderon both returned to the lineup, while Rodney Hood still remains on the sidelines with a sore left Achilles tendon.

For the Knicks, Michael Beasley scored 20 points, while rookie Frank Ntilikina added a career-high 17.

The Cavaliers continue their push towards the third seed, with their final game of the season at home against the Knicks.
