It took a miss in the ninth end for Kevin Koe's rink to finally breathe easy, but that they did in the early hours Thursday morning, producing their third win in three tries.
Koe's rink defeated Norway 7-4 to improve to 3-0 in round robin play at the 2018 Winter Olympics, following victories against Italy and Britain on Wednesday.
"It was a close game, could have gone against us," Koe said, according to the Canadian Press. "Obviously any time you win here it feels good because that one especially was a grind. Great time, but we made the shots when we had to coming down the stretch."

A back-and-forth, neck-and-neck game went into the eighth end tied at 4-4, before Koe stole a single in the eighth to make it 5-4. Two more steals in the ninth added cushion to their lead, and Norway's misfired on its subsequent takeout attempt to secure the victory for Canada.
Koe's rink will continue round robin play on Friday against South Korea, looking to continue its path to a fourth straight gold medal in men's curling.
