After a perfect 4-0 start for Kevin Koe's rink at the 2018 Winter Olympics in curling, wins have been hard to come by.

Canada dropped its second straight game in round robin play of men's curling Saturday, losing to Switzerland and Benoit Schwarz's rink 8-6.

The Swiss jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead in the first end, a deficit Koe and company were forced to try to make up for the remainder of the match. Koe put his final stone in the first end through the house, setting up Schwarz to bank four points for his rink.

While Canada got two points back in the second end and the teams traded singles in the third and fourth, two points by Switzerland in the fifth end got them back to that four-point advantage entering the break.

It was there where, perhaps feeling the pressure and time dwindling, Koe's rink began to mount its comeback. The scored two points in the seventh to draw within 7-5, before getting a single in the eighth to get the deficit to one, the closest margin of the night.

But the Swiss managed to ward of Koe in the ninth end, saving the match for Switzerland. With Canada sitting with three stones in the house and Switzerland down to its last shot, a defensive work to head into the 10th end with an 8-6 lead.

While Canada held the hammer to close out the game, Schwarz hit the mark to close things out for Switzerland.

With the victory, the Swiss leapfrog Canada in the standings, with both country's sitting on 4-2 records, but Switzerland holding the head-to-head victory.

Canada will look to end its two-match losing streak on Sunday against the United States (2-3).
