Tyson Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) faces Deontay Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs) in his first defense of his WBC and The Ring titles on Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada. The fight will be broadcasted via a joint pay-per-view from ESPN and FOX Sports.

Fury, who is ranked as the No. 1 heavyweight by ESPN, defeated Wilder by a seventh-round technical knockout in February 2020 to win his current titles. He previously held the WBA (super), IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight titles following his win over Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015, though he lost those belts after two years of inactivity.

Fury first fought Wilder in December 2018, when they drew. Wilder scored two knockdowns in the fight — including a vicious one in the 12th round — but Fury appeared to win a majority of the rounds, leading to post-fight controversy.

Saturday’s bout is expected to conclude the trilogy between Fury and Wilder, with the winner likely setting himself to face WBA (super), IBF, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk in late 2022 or early 2023. Fury previously said he would like to face WBC interim champion Dillian Whyte in December, though it is uncertain whether that will happen next.

According to former ESPN boxing reporter Dan Rafael, Fury and Wilder were contractually guaranteed $5 million each in their second bout but ended up earning more than $25 million apiece. Wilder earned a disclosed purse of $4 million in their first fight while Fury earned $3 million, according to SportsJoe.

Here are the figures Sporting News was able to compile for their third bout.
