Ryan Garcia looks to get one step closer to landing a world title shot Saturday night, when he headlines a card against Jose Lopez at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, Calif., live and exclusively on DAZN.

The undefeated super featherweight and Golden Boy darling is coming off a fifth-round KO of Braulio Rodriguez on the Canelo Alvarez-Rocky Fielding card at Madison Square Garden in New York City back in December, when he thoroughly pummeled his brash opponent and looked razor-sharp doing it. That impressive showing had plenty to do with Garcia making the switch to training with Canelo's trainer, Eddy Reynoso.

Now, a convincing win over the older, slightly more-seasoned Lopez, 25, on Saturday night would inch the 20-year-old babyfaced sensation even closer to a world title shot. And Garcia (17-0, 14 KOs) and his Golden Boy team know it.

Lopez (20-3-1, 14 KOs) enters the ring coming off a TKO loss to Jonathan Oquendo in October and is just 2-2 in his last four fights. But he does sport an identical 14 knockouts to Garcia, perhaps signaling that the Puerto Rican fighter has enough punching power to test "The Flash" and give Garcia's 2.3 million Instagram followers something to be concerned about. There's no doubt that Garcia will look to put on a show for them by flashing his sweet science skills further.

Here's everything you need to know about Garcia vs. Lopez.
