The British Boxing Board of Control (BBBofC) fined WBO middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders £100,000 ($131,000 USD) on Tuesday in response to a recently-leaked video, which shows Saunders offering a woman drugs in exchange for performing a sex act, as reported by Sky Sports.

Saunders was fined for bringing the sport into disrepute. In the video, Saunders was also seen asking the woman to punch a passer-by before driving off in his car.

Saunders has apologized for incident via social media, describing it as "banter" gone wrong.

Saunders (26-0, 12 KOs) faces a serious test Oct. 20, when he faces Demetrius Andrade (25-0, 16 KOs). According to Sky Sports, Saunders is clear to go ahead with that fight. The winner could be in serious line to battle Canelo Alvarez or Gennady Golovkin.
