It will be a party in Puerto Rico when Amanda Serrano returns home to defend her status as the unified featherweight champion against Nina Meinke on March 8. 

The 35-year-old Serrano (46-2-1) fights in Puerto Rico for the first time since 2021 when she knocked out Daniela Romina Bermudez. “The Real Deal” is a seven-division world champion and leads the charge in women’s boxing by competing in another 12 three-minute round fight.

Meinke (18-3) turned pro in 2016. The German won the European featherweight title in 2019 against Helene Lascombe. She is currently on a six-fight win streak, beating Laura Ledezma in October via unanimous decision. 

Jake Paul competes in the co-main event, world titles are on the line, and young guns look to impress below the Serrano vs. Meinke main event.

A YouTuber, Paul (8-1) beat several YouTubers, MMA fighters, and basketball stars in the boxing ring, including AnEsonGib, Nate Robinson, Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley (twice), Anderson Silva, and Nate Diaz. He lost against Tommy Fury to start 2023, which was his first contest against a legitimate boxer. Paul ended the year with a win against pro boxer Andre August, knocking him out in the first round.

It will be the first time Paul will co-main event under someone, with Serrano a key member of Most Valuable Promotions. 

Bourland (17-2) turned pro in 2013. He is on a three-fight win streak, with his last contest being a TKO win in September 2022 against Santario Martin.

Jonathan Gonzalez vs. Rene Santiago

A former amatera standout, Gonzalez (27-3-1) turned pro in 2011. He beat Elwin Soto in 2021 for the WBO light flyweight title and has defended the belt twice, with his last contest being a decision win over Shokichi Iwata in November.

Santiago (12-3) turned pro in 2014 and he's a on a three-fight win streak. His last contest, in October, was a knockout win over Kevin Vivas for the interim WBO title.


Christopher Diaz vs. Headley Scott

Diaz (27-4) turned pro in 2013. He lost to Masayuki Ito in 2018 for the WBO super featherweight title and to Emanuel Navarrete for the WBO featherweight belt three years later. Following a two-fight losing streak, he rebounded to defeat Deivi Julio in May 2022, which was his last fight.

Scott (18-1) turned pro in 2014. The Brooklyn-born fighter has won seven straight since 2019, with his last fight being a decision win over Toriano Nicholas in June 2022.
