Canada's Mamadou Gueye only attempted one 3-pointer in the 2018 Commonwealth Games men's basketball semifinal.
It was the biggest shot of the game.
With Canada trailing New Zealand by a point, Gueye received the ball with two seconds left to play and took one step around his defender before launching a hopeful shot from just behind the 3-point line. The clock ran out while the ball was still in the air, meaning Gueye's shot would decide which team would advance to the gold medal final.
