The records alleged that Thaxton pushed his girlfriend into his room after she refused to come with him to his dorm, and then blocked the door to prevent her from leaving. He was arrested, and released on a $1,500 bond.
Thaxton, who did not play for the Vols last season, is scheduled for a July 23 arraignment on both counts.
