Several Week 3 games highlight an exicting week early in the season.

Division rivals New Orleans Saints and Atlanta Falcons faceoff in Atlanta during the early slate of games on Sunday. The two teams duked it out all last season for the NFC South divisional crown, with the Saints coming out on top. The Falcons still made the playoffs however and were knocked out in the NFC Divisional Round like the Saints. New Orleans will be without star running back Mark Ingram as he'll be serving his third game of a four-game suspension due to using performance enhancing drugs.

Andrew Luck leads a promising Colts team into Philadelphia to take on the Eagles. The matchup also marks Colts head coach Frank Reich's first game against his former team as he won the Super Bowl with the Eagles last season as their offensive coordinator. Colts fans hope that Reich will be the head coach that the Colts have been missing since Tony Dungy, and there's no better way to test that than playing at the defending champs' stadium.

Another game where the protege will faceoff against its former mentor takes place in Detroit where the Lions host the New England Patriots. Lions head coach Matt Patricia served as the Patriots defensive coordinator for the last six seasons. He now leads a Detroit team that's struggled to get over the hump the last few seasons. A win against one of the league's top teams will go a long way towards that goal.

Other matchups include the battle of Los Angeles, where the Chargers will "travel" to face the Rams in a matchup between the favorites to win the West divisions. And the Tennessee Titans go to Jacksonville to face the Jaguars in a matchup that could determine division supremacy.

All times are Eastern.
