The game on opening night isn't the only big game in week 1, though. The defending AFC champion New England Patriots host the Houston Texans, who welcome back Deshaun Watson after he tore his ACL last year. Will Watson take the Texans to the next level this season? A win in New England could go a long way towards that.

The San Francisco 49ers were one of the most hyped teams this off-season. Their hype faces a big test in week 1 as they travel to Minnesota to face the Vikings, who finished with the NFC's second best record last season and are now led by Kirk Cousins at quarterback.

Ben Roethilisberger, Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell bring the Steelers' offensive attack to Cleveland to face the Browns, who have been talked about a lot this off-season from drafting Baker Mayfield with the first pick in the draft to their appearance on "Hard Knocks" this training camp.

And on Sunday night, first-year head coach Matt Nagy brings his Bears to Green Bay to face the Packers.

All times are Eastern.
