WWE will head to the Music City this year, with the annual SummerSlam pay-per-view event to be held on Sunday July 31st (AEST) in Nashville, Tennessee. 

Brock Lesnar will again challenge WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns, with this likely to be their final battle under 'Last Man Standing' rules. 

Former NFL star Pat McAfee will also be in action, while the recently-signed Logan Paul will face The Miz in singles action. 

Here's everything you need to know ahead of WWE SummerSlam 2022. 

WHEN IS WWE SUMMERSLAM 2022? 

SummerSlam will take place on Sunday 31st July (AEST), which is of course Saturday night in the US. 

It is the eight PPV event of the calendar year and will be held in Nashville, Tennessee. 

The event is expected to begin at 10am AEST and run for at least three hours. 

WHERE IS WWE SUMMERSLAM 2022? 

This year's event will be held at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. 

The stadium is the home of NFL franchise Tennessee Titans and can hold up to 70,000 people. 

HOW TO WATCH OR STREAM WWE SUMMERSLAM 2022 IN AUSTRALIA

There are two ways you can watch SummerSlam in Australia - and one of them is a huge win for fans. 

The first is to subscribe to the WWE Network, which is $9.99 a month in the US, which works out to be about $13-14 AUD.

The Network is free for a month for new subscribers and has original weekly programming, as well as delayed replays of Raw, Smackdown and NXT.

SummerSlam will also be broadcast live on FOX8 for no extra charge for Foxtel subscribers. 

Kayo will also stream the event live for $25. 

FOX8 TO BROADCAST MONEY IN THE BANK AND SUMMERSLAM

In a major win for WWE fans in Australia, FOX8 will broadcast both Money In The Bank and SummerSlam live for no extra cost. 

Foxtel subscribers will be granted access to two of the company's biggest shows of the year, instead of purchasing the event on Main Event.

WWE Network subscribers will still be able to watch both shows as per normal, while Kayo subscribers can stream the events live for $25. 

WHAT TIME IS WWE SUMMERSLAM 2022 IN AUSTRALIA?

SummerSlam is expected to begin at 10am (AEST) here in Australia and run for at least three hours. 

The pre-show will begin at 9am and run for one hour. 

LOGAN PAUL SIGNS WITH WWE, MATCH WITH THE MIZ CONFIRMED

YouTube sensation Logan Paul has officially signed a multi-year deal with WWE.

After making sporadic appearances for the company in the past 18 months, including an in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38, the 27-year-old has now inked a contract with the pro wrestling company.

WWE announced the news via social media, with Paul calling out former world champion The Miz for a match at SummerSlam. 

The match with The Miz has since been confirmed.
