The WWE has incorporated countless celebrities and sports stars into its events each week, but none have been as prevalent as Pat McAfee.
The former NFL punter is the analyst for WWE Monday Night Raw, but he'll be making his last appearance "for a while" on Aug. 19. He made the announcement on his Instagram story.
"Alright, last Monday Night Raw Monday for a bit," McAfee said. "... Very bummed out that tonight will be my last trip to that wonderful WWE family for a while. Alright, let's have a day. I'm bummed out."
Here's why McAfee won't be at WWE Monday Night Raw.

Why isn't Pat McAfee hosting WWE Monday Night Raw?
McAfee is part of ESPN's College GameDay team, which is gearing up for its return for the college football season. Week 0 begins on Saturday, Aug. 24.
Just like last year, McAfee is stepping away from the WWE for the college football season. He said Monday Night Raw on Aug. 19 would be the last "for a while."
"Football season is starting, which is awesome," McAfee said on his Instagram story. "But the WWE family is where I’m supposed to be. And I know that, and I hope they do too. Cheers."
