WWE will return to the home of ECW this month, with the annual Extreme Rules pay-per-view event to be held in Philadelphia on October 9th (AEDT). 

Hot off the heels of a groundbreaking event in the UK, the sports entertainment juggernaut will head back to Philly for a wild night, with plenty of big stars likely to be on the card. 

Here's everything you need to know ahead of WWE Extreme Rules 2022. 

WHEN IS WWE EXTREME RULES 2022? 

Extreme Rules will take place on Sunday 9th October (AEDT), which is of course Saturday night in the US. 

It is the 10th PPV event of the calendar year and will be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. 

The event is expected to begin at 11am AEDT and run for at least three hours. 

WHERE IS WWE EXTREME RULES 2022?

The event will be held at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelpia, Pennsylvania. 

The arena is home to the Philadelphia 76ers NBA franchise and can hold up to 21,000 people. 

HOW TO WATCH OR STREAM WWE EXTREME RULES 2022 IN AUSTRALIA

There are two ways you can watch Extreme Rules in Australia. 

The first is to subscribe to the WWE Network, which is $9.99 a month in the US, which works out to be about $15 AUD.

The Network is free for a month for new subscribers and has original weekly programming, as well as delayed replays of Raw, Smackdown and NXT.

The event will also be broadcast on Foxtel's Main Event for $30. 

WHAT TIME IS WWE CLASH AT THE CASTLE IN AUSTRALIA?

Extreme Rules is expected to begin at 11am (AEDT) here in Australia and run for at least three hours. 

The pre-show will begin at 10am and run for one hour.
