Australian results Tokyo Paralympic Games Day 6, Aussies in action: Li Na Lei, Qian Yang win gold in para-table tennis image

Australia has found gold again on day six of the Tokyo Paralympic Games with three golds in an incredible day of competition. 

The evening started with two historic Para-Table Tennis gold medals. 

It then ended with an incredible world record by Australia's men's team in the 4 x 100m freestyle relay.

Australia smash the world record in Men's 4 x 100m freestyle relay

The Australian men's 4 x 100m freestyle relay team has smashed the world record to claim gold in a fantastic end to day six in the pool. 

The team of Rowan Crothers, Will Martin, Matt Levy and Ben Popham led for the entire race to beat out Italy and Ukraine.

Double gold after a 37-year wait for Para-Table Tennis glory

Australia has won two para-table tennis gold medals in one night, breaking a 37-year hoodoo in the sport at the Tokyo Paralympic Games on Monday

Li Na Lei defeated China's Guiyan Xiong three-sets-to-two with a 6-11 11-5 11-5 9-11 11-5 scoreline in the Women's Singles class 9, clinching a sixth Paralympic gold in her career.

About an hour later, Yang Qian overcame Brazil's Bruna Costa Alexandre two-sets-to-one with a 13-11 6-11 11-7 11-9 result in the Women's Singles class 10.

Lei won her first para-table tennis gold at her debut Paralympics at Athens 2004 in the Teams  C6-10 event, before sweeping the gold medals in that event and the Women's Singles 9 at both Beijing 2008 and London 2012.

All her previous golds were won while competing for China.

Qian had also won a gold medal previously with China in the Teams C6-10 event at London, with her Tokyo win being her first individual glory.

Michal Burian grabs silver with a javelin world record

Australia's Michal Burian has grabbed a silver medal in the Men's F64 Javelin with a world record in the F44 class. 

Burian produced a personal best throw with his final attempt with a 66.29m throw to claim the silver.
