The Professional Fighters League has gone through a roster makeover thanks to the addition of Bellator fighters to the in-season tournament format the promotion is known for. Who will stand out and show they are ready to win $1 million at the end of the year?

The first PFL event of 2024 airs on ESPN+ in the U.S. and DAZN in the U.K. on April 4. It emanates from The Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio.

Former and current Bellator champions are on the card. Valentin Moldavsky, a former heavyweight champion, faces former PFL champion Ante Delija in the main event. Meanwhile, Bellator flyweight champion Liz Carmouche faces Juliana Velasquez in a trilogy, one the former is 2-0 so far in.

Carmouche has a target on her back, thanks in part to her already being a champion. On the card will be Velasquez, former UFC contender Taila Santos, Kana Watanabe, and Dakota Ditcheva. Ditcheva won the PFL flyweight tournament in Europe last season. The English fighter is ready to make an impact in the U.S. right away.

"I’m here to win it," Ditcheva told MMA Junkie. "I feel like I’m at that level, and I will be. When I get in that cage, I will be ready to fight and bring home the win every time. They might be putting me into the fire, but they’re also putting other girls into the fire because I’m in it, as well. I see it both ways. They’re not coming into the tournament with an easy fight, because you’re never going to get that from me."
