Now's the time to hop on the Omar Apollo train. The singer is set to release his second studio album, God Said No, this summer just days before setting off on his sixth headline tour.

Omar Apollo began his career just seven years ago, uploading music online in the hopes it would take off. And it did. He released his first EP, Stereo, just a year later. He's produced three more, one recorded during NPR's Tiny Desk, and one solo record.

He's had dozens of successful singles but not as popular as "Evergreen (You didn't Deserve Me at All)." The song went on to become certified platinum and topped the charts at No. 51.

To celebrate his latest album, Apollo is setting off on the "God Said No" tour. Beginning July 15, the singer will perform in Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Canada and the U.S. through the summer and fall.

That gives new fans plenty of time to listen to his music and find the best tickets for his tour. Here's what to know.
