When is the Wimbledon 2023 draw? Dates and schedule as Novak Djokovic and Iga Swiatek top the bill image

Arguably the biggest tournament in tennis, Wimbledon 2023 is scheduled to get underway on July 3 this summer.

As such, all eyes will be on the All England Club when the action gets underway this summer with most of the bigger stars in the sport clashing and battling it out for the top spot.

On the men's side of the draw British favourites Cameron Norrie, Dan Evans and Andy Murray will all be looking to claim success on home soil alongside top seed Novak Djokovic, whilst women's world number one Iga Swiatek will hope to replicate her success from the French Open in taking her first Wimbledon title.

But when will we find out who's playing who at Wimbledon 2023? The Sporting News is on hand with all the information.

When is the draw for Wimbledon 2023?

The draw for the men’s and women’s singles for Wimbledon 2023 will be made on Friday, June 30.

That date is four days before the main action begins at the All England Club this year and represents when some of the biggest players will find out which side of the draw they're on.

As always, qualifying for the tournament will take place the week before the main draw begins.

What is the Wimbledon schedule in 2023?

The 2023 edition of Wimbledon will stick to being a 14-day competition with no rest day on the middle Sunday as was the tradition before last year's tournament.

The middle Sunday had originally been used to work on the condition of the grass courts in SW19, but organisers now believe that the quality of the surfaces can take the wear and tear of an additional day of action.

Here's the full schedule for the men's and women's single competitions at Wimbledon 2023.

Day Schedule
July 3-4 First round
July 5-6 Second round
July 7-8 Third round
July 9-10 Fourth round
July 11-12 Quarterfinals
July 13 Women's semifinals
July 14 Men's semifinals
July 15 Women's final
July 16 Men's final
