Bernard Tomic and Thanasi Kokkinakis were among five Aussies to progress through to the second round of qualifying at Wimbledon.
Alex Bolt, Jason Kubler and John-Patrick Smith also progressed with fine wins.
However, Marc Polmans fell to a shattering loss despite missing a swathe of match points, while Max Purcell and Akira Santillian also suffered disappointing defeats.

TOMIC ON THE MARCH
Tomic cruised into the next round of qualifying with a 7-6 6-3 win over Matteo Donati.
The 25-year-old will now play Tomislav Brkic in the next round. Earlier, Brkic defeated Santillian.
As an 18-year-old back in 2011, Tomic forced his way through qualifying and reached the quarterfinals, going down to eventual tournament winner Novak Djokovic.
"Played so many times third round, fourth round here, one time quarterfinals," Tomic said after the Donati match.
"I play always well but now it's a new year, so try my best this year."

KOKKINAKIS SNATCHES GRITTY WIN
Kokkinakis nearly binned it, but put in a gritty performance to take down Marcelo Arevalo.
The 22-year-old lost the first set and took the second to a tie break, before taking the match 3-6 7-6 6-4.
Kokkinakis will next play Poland's Kamil Majchrzak.
The South Aussie has endured an injury-plagued 2018 season, and was left in crutches after a freak accident at the Monte Carlo Masters in April.
"I wasn’t sure if I was going to play a couple of days ago," Kokkinakis said.
"I just went point by point and hopefully the body held up. It was ugly, but I got there in the end, so I’ll take it.
"I did something to my quad a little bit a few days ago so I think I strained it. But grass is okay, you can kind of get away with it."

AUSSIE CONTINGENT PUSHING HARD
Buoyed by Alex Di Minaur's wildcard into the main draw, the other Aussies entrenched in the qualifying battle needed luck - and some - to progress.
Bolt took down Frenchman Quentin Halys in a tough three-setter 7-6 3-6 6-3.

Polmans' heart-breaking loss to Matthias Bachinger will sting the South African-born youngster, missing four match points - all when receiving serve - in the 6-3 4-6 8-6 result.
Purcell went down to American Donald Young in straight sets, 6-3 6-2.
