When is Alex de Minaur playing next? Schedule for Australian tennis player

De Minaur began his Australian summer campaign at the United Cup in Perth.

He played the opening men's singles match of Australia's tie with Great Britain, where he was defeated by Cameron Norrie in a three-set thriller.

It was a much-improved showing against the United States' Taylor Fritz, winning in straight sets. The result helped Australia progress to the quarterfinals of the tournament.

He then claimed a career-best result against Novak Djokovic, defeating the world No. 1 for the first time.

Despite Australia being eliminated in the United Cup semi-final, De Minaur finished the event by knocking off world No. 7 Alexander Zverev.

In the first round of the Australian Open, he defeated former world No. 3 Raonic via walkover, with the Canadian retiring in the third set.

De Minaur showed his best tennis in the second round, destroying 41st ranked Arnaldi 6-3 6-0 6-3.

The Aussie will now meet another Italian in the third round - 21-year-old qualifer Flavio Cobolli.

That fixture is slated for Friday, January 16 at a time yet to be confirmed.
