Alex de Minaur has reached the third round at Roland-Garros for the first time in his career. 

His next test will be a clash with experienced German player Jan-Lennard Struff.

Like De Minaur, Struff has won both of his French Open 2024 matches in straight sets.

When is Alex de Minaur vs. Jan-Lennard Struff? Start time for French Open third round match

'The Demon' will take on Struff on Saturday, June 1, with the start scheduled for 7:00 pm AEST.

It is the first match on Court 14 for the day, so it should start on time (assuming there is no rain). 

How to watch French Open in Australia: TV channel, free-to-air guide for Roland-Garros

The 2024 edition of the French Open is being broadcast live and free on 9Gem.

Coverage begins most days at 6:30 pm AEST and runs through until roughly 4:30 am AEST.

Commentary for select matches will come from Nine’s Wide World of Sports team, which features Todd Woodbridge, Jelena Dokic, Samantha Stosur and Brenton Speed.

De Minaur's third round match is set to lead the coverage, followed by Thanasi Kokkinakis' battle with Taylor Fritz from 11:30 pm AEST.

How to live stream the French Open in Australia

Every match of Roland-Garros 2024 – including De Minaur's upcoming clash with Struff – can be streamed live and on-demand in Australia via Stan Sport.

Matches from four courts – Court Philippe Chatrier, Court Suzanne Lenglen, Court Simonne Mathieu and Court 1 – are available to watch in 4K. 

Fans can also stream the action for free via 9Now, which shows the standard free-to-air broadcast.
