Nick Kyrgios has taken a swipe at tennis legends Martina Navratilova and Jim Courier after a video of the pair discussing the Australian's recent on-court drama was published to Twitter by the Tennis Channel.
Previewing Kyrgios' US Open chances, multiple time Grand Slam champions Courier and Navratilova both mentioned Kyrgios could benefit from some professional mental health advice.
After spotting the clip on the Tennis Channel twitter account, Kyrgios re-tweeted it with a blunt message for the pair of former world number ones.
"People that are irrelevant in my personal life are trying to make comments on my personal character," he wrote.
"Well done."

Indeed, most of the 1:42 long video focused on Kyrgios' apparent mental health issues rather than his tennis, with the panelists agreeing with the likes of Daniela Huntachova and Tim Henman, who called for the world number 30 to seek professional help last week.
"His season has actually been pretty good, because he's won two big titles in Acapulco and Washington, D.C.," Courier said.
"But he also continues to struggle emotionaly.
"I think we need to spare a little bit of a thought for him. I'm definitely not condoning this behaviour.
"Does he need some mental health help? Is this something that's medical?

"We don't know the answer to that for sure, but he's a guy who polarises. He plays some electric tennis, but man, it's been tough to watch."
Former world number one, and 18-time Grand Slam champion, Navratilova strongly felt that Kyrgios needs help.
"He definitely needs help, but that's out of our pay grade," she said.
"I would just like for him to do his talking with his racquet, rather than breaking it.
"He needs to start winning matches, then he can talk.
"We can't give a moral pass to somebody just because they are potentially a great tennis player."
Kyrgios' tweet was met with a mixed response from his fans and detractors, but fellow Aussie player John Millman weighed in with some words of support.
"You do you mate," Millman, who plays Rafael Nadal in the first round, wrote.
