A week after her devastating result in the final of the Thailand Open, Ajla Tomljanovic has qualified for the main draw of the Qatar Open this week.
The news wasn't as good for Aussie veteran Sam Stosur, who was beaten in three sets in the third round of qualifying.
Tomljanovic made it to the final of the Thailand Open without dropping a set, but lost the decider in controversial circumstances to Dayana Yastremska.
The 25-year-old was up 5-2 in the third set in Thailand before Yastremska took a suspect medical time out.

The tactics - described by Nick Kyrgios as "trash" - derailed Tomljanovic's quest for her first career title, as Yastremska rebounded from the injury to her left leg to take the match 6-2 2-6 7-6(3).
Just over a week on, Tomljanovic has qualified for a spot in the main draw in Qatar, where she will play German Julia Goerges.
The top seeded player in qualifying, Tomljanovic beat Shuko Aoyama in three sets in her first match, before earning a main draw spot with a 6-3 6-4 win over Polona Hercog.
Tomljanovic will play Goerges early on Wednesday morning (Australian time). The pair are split one apiece in the two singles matches they've played, with Goerges winning the most recent encounter 7-5 6-2 at Indian Wells in 2017.
Ranked 16th in the world, Goerges made it to the round of 16 in St Petersberg in late January. She earned a 6-2 7-5 win over Maria Sakkari before being knocked out by wildcard Vera Zvonerava 4-6 6-4 6-4.
Tomljanovic and Goerges each suffered first round exits at the Australian Open, with the Aussie being sent packing in a three-set epic by Johanna Konta, and Goerges losing to eventual semi-finalist Danielle Collins.
The winner of their first round match will play either Hercog or Alison Riske, who are each lucky losers from qualifying.
A third round match-up with world number three, Simona Halep - who has a first round bye - or Caroline Garcia or Lesia Tsurenko awaits.
World number four Elina Svitolina, former French Open champion Jelena Ostapenko, 2018 Australian Open winner Caroline Wozniacki and rising star Aliaksandra Sasnovich are all in the same half of the draw.
Angelique Kerber, Anastasjia Sevastova, Kiki Bertens and Karolina Pliskova all feature in the bottom half of the draw.
Former US Open champion Sam Stosur failed to qualify for the Qatar Open after a three set defeat to Anna Blinkova in the last round of qualifying.
Stosur had beaten Xu Shillin and Tereza Mrdeza in straight sets, and despite Blinkova serving 14 double faults, went out on the back of a 7-6(1) 3-6 6-4 scoreline.
