Tennis legend Pat Cash has launched a searing attack on Scott Morrison, criticising the Prime Minister's response to the bushfire crisis.
Cash, who guided Australia to two Davis Cup titles and won Wimbledon in 1987, put in an impassioned appearance on Good Morning Britain with Piers Morgan, saying Morrison had "failed the fire fighters."
Speaking shortly after Morrison cabinet minister Craig Kelly's widely panned interview on the show, Cash said the Australian Prime Minister didn't do enough to prepare for bushfire season and hasn't reached out for help.
"At the moment, there's lives being lost - there's no one that hasn't been touched," he said.

"So much of this has been a very, very slow reaction by the Prime Minister.
"Unfortunately he didn't listen to the fire chiefs. Six months ago, 20 ex-fire chiefs got together, wrote a letter and wanted to sit down with the Prime Minister warning about exactly what was gonna happen.
"(They said) we're inadequately equipped, we need to do something, we need to be ready for the disaster, it's imminent.
"Sure enough it is."
Having failed to adequately prepare for what has turned into the worst bushfire season ever, Cash accused Morrison of not seeking the necessary assistance from around the world.
"He's failed the fire fighters," he said.
The world is wishing all Australians well, I did my best to explain #goodmorningbritain before I head home for a hot summer of tennis. https://t.co/x6gXn1p3gc

"He'd been warned. There's not enough masks for the fire fighters.
"These guys are absolute heroes. They're in there with blazing heat, they're ill-equipped and they need more.
"Unfortunately the Prime Minister hasn't got on the phone to Donald Trump - you could do it, Piers. You do it. Get on the phone and say 'where are these Hercules planes?'
"There's eight of them - monsters. They dwarf what we've got in Australia and it can pour water and fire-retardant over it.
"We haven't got the equipment. He hasn't reached out to the world to say 'help us.'"
