Nick Kyrgios publicly shames 'racist, homophobic' online troll over spiteful message image

Nick Kyrgios has publicly shared a disgustingly hateful message from an online troll to highlight the abuse that a large number of professional athletes have to combat.

The Australian tennis star took screenshots of the private message from a ''racist, homophobic hater'' that included an array of harsh expletives, while he labelled Kyrgios as an Indian.

''You have to question the world when a grown ass man feels the need to reach out with this hate?!'' Kyrgios unloaded in a fiery Facebook post.

''A racist, homophobic hater, yet I’m the disgrace? How messed up is the world? You’d be surprised how much of this sh*t I have to put up with, especially from Australia.''

The unwarranted attack comes a day after Kyrgios was heckled by a fan during his Miami Open meeting against Dušan Lajović who he claims to have called him a ''dick'' from the stands.

"You've just got idiots in the crowd who have nothing else to do on a Sunday night but watch me play, yet are talking to me as though they're not interested in watching," he said after the match.

"I had a bit of fun with it. I knew he was going to get kicked out, I loved every single bit of it. I think the crowd loved it. I thought they saw some great tennis as well.

"When I go to a sporting event, I just admire the athletes and support them because I genuinely like being at an event.

"He's probably stuck in traffic going to his house in rush hour. I don't understand it.

"If anything, he got me going and got me motivated, I'm really happy with how I played."

The fan was later ejected by security after an ongoing sledging war, flipping the bird at the Australian as he was escorted out of the venue.

"At the change of ends he literally just said, 'you’re a dick'," Kyrgios said.

"And I was like, 'okay, I don’t quite understand the context of it. You’re sitting here, you paid good money to watch me on a Sunday night, so you obviously have nothing else to do'.

"And then he said it again, 'you're a dick', and I was like, 'you have nothing else to say'. And then he was like, 'come here and say it'.

"I was like, 'no, because I have to play'... and then it just kept going."

Kyrgios' social media accounts also lit up on Monday after he called out former world number one Angelique Kerber for her tantrum exit after bowing out to teenage sensation Bianca Andreescu at the same event.

Kerber was heavily criticised for giving her opponent an ice-cold handshake at the net, calling her ''the biggest drama queen I have ever seen''.

Hours later, Kerber congratulated Andreescu on social media, but she wasn't fooling Kyrgios.

Kyrgios cruised into the final 16 in Miami winning in straight sets 6-3 6-1 to set up a clash with Croatian Borna Coric.
