Nick Kyrgios has taken the generous step of committing to donate $200 per ace he hits during the Australian summer of tennis.
Kyrgios has been vocal in recent days about supporting the widespread efforts to help the victims of the bushfires.
Kyrgios's hometown of Canberra has been one of the hardest affected and currently has the worst recorded air quality in the world.
It was a point he made clear during a press conference for the ATP Cup in Brisbane which starts on Friday.

Earlier in the week, Kyrgios proposed an exhibition tournament that would feature some of the best players before the Australian Open to help raise funds.
Tennis Australia CEO, Craig Tiley, confirmed that there would be a number of 'meaningful ways' they would raise funds for bushfire victims during the ATP Cup and Australian Open.

Kyrgios said that it was for 'hard' for him to see his hometown going through such devestation and wanted to do whatever he could to help.
"To see Canberra like that, it’s pretty tough to see," Kyrgios said at the press conference for the ATP Cup on Thursday.
"All the heartbreak this summer - it’s pretty tragic what’s going on.
"Especially with my hometown, Canberra, being under a bit of smoke; the most hazardous smoke in the world at the moment."
Australian coach Lleyton Hewitt echoed Kyrgios' sentiments, confirming that he wanted to help in whatever way he could.
"Christmas and the New Year should be a happy time for these families and lots of these people are doing it pretty tough out there," Hewitt said during the press conference.
"So I think all of us feel like we would like to help in some way."
Kyrgios was asked about his idea of an exhibition match to raise funds and he believed that the idea would still get off the ground.
"The more exposure it gets, I think we have the potential to do something pretty special there," Kyrgios confirmed.
Later that evening, Kyrgios confirmed that he would "kick-off" the donations for the bushfires with his ace commitment.
"I’m kicking off the support for those affected by the fires," Kyrgios said on Twitter.
"I’ll be donating $200 per ace that I hit across all the events I play this summer."
I’m kicking off the support for those affected by the fires. I’ll be donating $200 per ace that I hit across all the events I play this summer. #MoreToCome #StayTuned

In 2018, Kyrgios served 36 aces in one match against Grigor Dmitrov, if he was to replicate that total it would see him donate $7,200.
For someone who is prolific at serving aces, this is a clear sign that Kyrgios is willing to dig deep to help those affected by these bushfires.
A number of other Aussie tennis players have confirmed they will also be getting in on Kyrgios' pledge.
Alex De Minaur will be donating $250 per ace, while John Millman will be putting $100 towards the cause.
I like this I will go $250 per ace, just because I don’t think I’ll be hitting as many aces as you mate. 😂😂😂 #dropthehammer https://t.co/SxMPs3XQud
