Nick Kyrgios wants to play in a Sydney Kings charity basketball game - and the organiser is keen to get him on board.

Soward was quick to respond to the tweet, letting Kyrgios know he was in.
I’m in the midst of working with the @SydneyKings for a charity game before one of their games in the new year. What celebrity would you like to see make the teams. I’m putting together a pretty impressive roster. Let me know....

The timing of the game would obviously be a factor in whether Kyrgios could actually play.
Having just featured in Australia's Davis Cup campaign, the 24-year-old will get just over a month off before his Australian Open preparations start.
Soward gave no indication of when the game might be, but there can be no doubts that Kyrgios is genuine in his interest.
Other celebrities to throw their hat in the ring, or have it thrown in for them, include fellow tennis player Thanasi Kokkinakis, cricketer Trent Copeland, Sydney Swans footballers Jake Lloyd and Aliir Aliir, comedian Matt Okine and musician Alex Cameron.
