Rafael Nadal's uncle and former coach Toni has backed his comments made following his heated defeat to Nick Kyrgios last week.
It was a match that had it all - from food poisoning to underarm serves, and from jeering to triumphs - and the controversial Australian pulled off an extraordinary comeback to oust the world No.2.
While Kyrios went on to defeat Stan Wawrinka, John Isner and Alexander Zverev to claim his fifth career title, it was Nadal's post-match antics that added fuel to the fire.
"He's a player who has a huge talent and could be winning Grand Slams or fight the first position in the rankings," Nadal told reporters in Spanish.
"He lacks respect for the public, the rival and himself."

Refusing to play into the spite, the Canberran copped the lot and remained hopeful that his scintillating run could inspire others who are struggling.
"I was really down and out, and didn't know what I was going to do, but you have a week like this and things can change," he said after his straight sets win over Zverev.
"It's hopefully an example for people who are struggling and getting in some places you don't think you can get out of. If I can do it, you can do it."
Despite the amount of work the Australian puts his heart and soul into at the Nick Kyrgios Foundation, the tennis world continue to criticise his maturity, character and on-court behaviour.
After being dubbed a 'black eye for the sport' and 'incapable of winning a Grand Slam', Nadal's uncle Toni has now weighed in.
Not only does the former coach support his nephew's critcism, but he also believes that the 23-year-old is too far gone to live up to his potential.
INDIAN WELLS: When do Kyrgios, De Minaur, Federer and the top seeds play?
"Rafa is totally right," Toni told Radio Marca.
"He (Kyrgios) lacks education and smartness.
“He should be fighting for the top rankings and instead, he is No. 40 [No. 33].
“He does not look like a bad guy but he has been disrespectful too many times to get back on track."
