Australian great Lleyton Hewitt has once more emerged from retirement, accepting a wildcard to partner young gun Alex de Minaur in the 2019 Brisbane International doubles.
The 37-year-old Hewitt quit full-time tennis after the 2016 Australian Open but has sporadically played in doubles competitions over the past two years.
Hewitt has fond memories of the season-opening Brisbane International, having stunned Roger Federer in 2015 to claim the singles title at the event.

Hewitt is still the world No.144 in doubles, winning six of 13 matches in 2018.
He has mentored de Minaur through the early stages of his burgeoning career, watching as the 19-year-old surpassed Nick Kyrgios as Australia's highest-ranked male singles player in October as he shot to world No.31.
The Sydney-born de Minaur was rewarded for his brilliant 2018 season when he was crowned the joint-winner of the Newcombe Medal in November alongside Ash Barty.
De Minaur and Hewitt have successfully combined on the court before, reaching the Estoril ATP doubles quarter-finals in May.
One-time US Open champion Samantha Stosur received a women's singles main draw wildcard for the Brisbane International, as did fellow Aussie Kim Birrell.
Rounding out the Australian wildcard list are Alex Bolt, Alexei Popyrin, James Duckworth (men's main draw), JP Smith, Mav Banes (men's qualifying), Priscilla Hon (women's main draw), Zoe Hives, Destanee Aiava, Lizette Cabrera and Naiktha Bains (women's qualifying).
