Daria Saville will go into the US Open full of confidence after reaching her first WTA final in nearly five years.
While the Australian failed to win the Granby title, losing 6-4 6-4 to Daria Kasatkina in the decider, Saville looks primed for a solid run at the US Open.
Saville didn't drop a set on her way to the final in Canada and more than held her own against the world number 10.
The 28-year-old also made the semi-finals of the Citi Open earlier in August as she finds form back on the hardcourt.

Saville hasn't competed at the US Open since 2019 and has never made it past the second round but shouldn't be underestimated in 2022.
The Aussie will face unseeded Elena-Gabriela Ruse in the first round on Tuesday (AEST) with last year's finalist Coco Gauff looming in the second round.
While Saville would be the underdog if that match was to happen, she has regularly punched above her weight this year.
Having started the year ranked 421 in the world, the 28-year-old has fought her way back into the WTA top 100 and made the third round of the French Open where she stunned Petra Kvitova in the second round.
Other notable wins this year for Saville have come against Ons Jabeur, Emma Raducanu, Elise Mertens and Jessica Pegula.
Saville is joined by current world number 48 Ajla Tomljanovic as Australia's best hopes in the women's singles for the US Open this year.
Like Savile, Tomljanovic has found form at the right time and recently reached the quarter-finals of the Cincinnati Masters where she beat world number four Paula Badosa in the round of 32.
