Andy Murray defeated Kei Nishikori 6-3 6-4 on Saturday to set up a Madrid Open final against defending champion Rafael Nadal.
Murray won his maiden clay-court title on Monday with victory at the BMW Open and has wasted little time in getting a second final on the surface under his belt.

The Scot has not dropped a set since round two when Philipp Kohlschreiber – the man he beat to triumph in Germany last week – took the match to 1-1 before collapsing in the decider.
Murray has since gone on to knock out Marcel Granollers and Milos Raonic and, having shared the opening six games against Nishikori, he won the last three on the bounce - two on the Japanese star's serve – to assume control of the encounter.
An early setback in the second set was immediately rectified by the second seed and, after serving to love to go 5-4 in front, Murray made one final break to put the match to bed.
Murray will now have to overcome Nadal if he is to clinch a second clay-court crown. Nadal has a 43–6 record in clay-court tournament finals.
Nadal advanced to the Madrid Open final with a 7-6 (3), 6-1 defeat of Tomas Berdych. Nadal is the two-time defending champion at Madrid, and with a win over Murray on Sunday, could win the event for the fifth time in his career. He has yet to drop a set in the tournament.
Nadal has not faced Murray since the French Open semifinals of 2014, but holds a 15-5 advantage head-to-head against the Scot.
