How to watch the Montreal Masters in Australia - Alexei Popyrin vs. Sebastian Korda

Despite defeating Hurkacz earlier in the day, Popyrin's semi-final against Korda will be played a few hours later because of persistent rain delays earlier in the tournament.

Currently, Popyrin is scheduled to take on Korda at 10:00am (AEST) on Monday, August 12 but that time is set to get pushed back with the Rublev-Arnaldi match currently in a rain delay with the Russian leading 6-4 1-1.

You can watch the match on beIN Sports Australia, who are the main broadcaster of ATP and WTA events in Australia - other than grand slam events.

The ATP Tour can also be livestreamed via a subscription package on Tennis TV.

How Alexei Popyrin reached the Montreal Masters semi-final

Popyrin recovered from a set down to defeat Hurkacz 3-6 7-6(5) 7-5 in two hours and 50 minutes to reach his first semi-final at Masters or better level.

After losing the first set, the Australian was two points away from losing the match in the second set tiebreak at 5-5, but came up trumps with the next two points to square the match.

In a tight third set, games were on serve until Popyrin broke Hurkacz to make it 6-5, with the Aussie serving out the match the following game.

It's been an impressive tournament in Canada from Popyrin, who has also defeated Grigor Dimitrov, Ben Shelton and Tomas Machac on his way to the semi-finals.

Alexei Popyrin's prospects at the Montreal Masters

Popyrin is rated an outside chance to defeat Korda, but the Australian's recent form and quality of opponent beaten means he can definitely win the match if he brings his best tennis

In addition to also playing twice in the same day, Korda has more of a chance of fatiguing, having played 8 matches in 10 days after winning the Washington Open last week.

This will be the third meeting between the two players, with Korda leading 2-0 with victories in 2023 and 2020.
