When is the Adelaide International?

The Adelaide International will begin on Monday, January 8, and finish on Saturday, January 13

It will be the fifth Australia/New Zealand tournament to take place at the beginning of the year, as the 2024 tennis season begins down under.

Unlike last year, when the event was split into two separate tournaments across several weeks, the 2024 Adelaide International will be held as a one-week competition.

Adelaide International: Field, players, entry lists

Across the men's and women's singles draws, 16 top-20 players will be in action in South Australia.

World No. 4 Elena Rybakina will be the top seed in the WTA event, while world No. 13 Tommy Paul is the top-ranked ATP player.

Thanasi Kokkinakis has confirmed his spot in the Adelaide International 2024, with the hometown hero recently reaching a career-best singles ranking (68).

Kokkinakis won the Adelaide International 2 in 2022 in front of friends and family — his first and only professional title.

Fellow Australians Ajla Tomljanović and Alexei Popyrin have also committed to the tournament.

Former world no.1 and three-time grand slam champion Angelique Kerber will also headline the Adelaide International as she returns to the tour.

The German star has been on maternity leave and hasn't competed since 2022.
