Over the years, swimming has been a staple for Australia at the Games and this year will be no different.
One of our great hopes in Tokyo is young freestyle specialist Ariarne Titmus.
Here's everything you need to know about the rising Aussie swim star.
WHO IS ARIARNE TITMUS?
Ariarne Titmus is an Australian swimmer who specialising in freestyle events over a wide range of distances.
McKeon is just 20 years of age and hails from Launceston, Tasmania.
She is coached by well-renowned mentor Dean Boxall.

ARIARNE TITMUS CLAIMS GOLD OVER KATIE LEDECKY
In one of the most highly-anticipated races of the entire Games, Titmus mowed down all-time great Ledecky in the final of the women's 400m freestyle on Monday.
The Tasmanian left it late to win in 3:56.16 ahead of Ledecky (3:57.36) and China’s Bingjie Li (4:01.08).

WHAT OTHER EVENTS WILL ARIARNE TITMUS COMPETE IN AT TOKYO OLYMPICS?
Titmus is set to compete in 200m freestlyle, 400m freestyle and 800m freestyle at the Tokyo Olympics, following the qualifiers recently.
She finished in 1st place in all of those events, including setting a new Commonwealth Record in the 200m final and a new Australian record in the 800m final.
Despite her youth, Titmus is considered a real chance of earning a medal in each of these events in Tokyo.
HAS ARIARNE TITMUS COMPETED AT THE OLYMPICS BEFORE?
This will be Titmus' first Olympic Games.
She has competed in the 2018 Commonwealth Games, as well as the 2017 and 2019 World Championsips.
ARIARNE TITMUS COMMONWEALTH GAMES RECORD
In 2018, Titmus competed in her first Commonwealth Games.
Titmus earned three individual medals - two gold and one silver - at the event on the Gold Coast, winning the 400m freestyle and 800m freestyle.
She has also won two gold medals over the course of her two World Championship appearances, where set three new Commonwealth records and a world record in 2019.
