Australian swimming results at World Aquatics Championships: Who has won gold medals? image

The World Aquatics Championships 2024 - which features swimming's World Championship - has wrapped up in Qatar's capital Doha.

From February 11-18, the world's best swimmers took to the pool with the Paris 2024 Olympics looming.

Australia finished the meet with three gold medals thanks to victories on the final day of competition from Isaac Cooper (50m backstroke) and the women's 4x100m medley relay team.

They joined Sam Williamson who took out the 50m backstroke earlier in the competition.

Gold

  • Sam Williamson - Men 50m breaststoke

Australia's first gold medal at the meet came in an event that does not feature at the Olympics.

Williamson won his first gold medal at an international event and swam the fourth-fastest time in the event's history.
