What time is Tottenham vs Chelsea? Kickoff, start time for Premier League match image

Tottenham will look to continue their unbeaten start to the Premier League season as they welcome old rivals Chelsea to north London on Monday.

Under new manager Ange Postecoglou, Spurs have picked up 26 points through their opening ten matches of the season, their best start to a top-flight campaign since all the way back in 1960/61.

They'll also look to make it five wins in a row in the league for the first time since December 2018 back when Mauricio Pochettino was in charge.

This time around he'll be in the opposing dug-out as he brings his Chelsea side northbound. He finds himself under pressure already though, after a 2-0 loss to Brentford last time out in the Premier League saw the visitors fall into the bottom half of the standings.

The Sporting News looks at the key details ahead of this game, including kickoff times, streaming details and team news.

Tottenham vs Chelsea lineups, team news

Tottenham could face a bit of an injury crisis at left-back as both Destiny Udogie and Ben Davies face late fitness tests ahead of this match.

Elsewhere, Ivan Perisic, Ryan Sessegnon and Manor Solomon remain sidelined through injury for the home side.

Tottenham lineup (4-2-3-1, right to left): Vicario (GK) — Porro, Romero, Van de Ven, Udogie — Sarr, Bissouma — Kulusevski, Maddison, Son — Richarlison.

Visiting Chelsea are buoyed by the return of attackers Armando Broja and Mykhailo Mudryk but they too have a lengthy list of players missing through injury.

Trevoh Chalobah, Carney Chukwuemeka, Ben Chilwell, Wesley Fofana, Romeo Lavia and Christopher Nkunku are all unavailable as manager Mauricio Pochettino looks likely to reshuffle his pack.

Chelsea lineup (4-3-3, right to left): Sanchez (GK) — James, Silva, Colwill, Cucurella — Caicedo, Gallagher, Fernandez — Palmer, Jackson, Sterling.

Tottenham vs Chelsea prediction, odds

  • Moneyline lean: Tottenham (+115)
  • Score prediction: Tottenham 2-1 Chelsea

Chelsea have shown an ability to play top teams competitively under Mauricio Pochettino, as evident by the recent draw with Arsenal or a 1-1 result against Liverpool to begin the season, but both of those came at Stamford Bridge.

Tottenham can't take this Chelsea team for granted, but Spurs remain the better side and should pick up the necessary three points at home, reminding the Blues of the work still to do prior to their upcoming gauntlet of games against Man City, Newcastle, Brighton, and Manchester United through the start of December.
