Spain vs Brazil final score, result, stats as Endrick scores on Bernabeu debut in thrilling friendly draw image

Teen sensation Endrick announced himself at the Santiago Bernabeu in style as Spain and Brazil played out an action-packed 3-3 draw.

The 17-year-old Palmieras forward will join Real Madrid from next season and he increased frenzied conversation around his goalscoring prowess by netting the winner on his international debut against England at the weekend.

Endrick was on the bench as Spain surged into a deserved 2-0 lead through a Rodri penalty and a magical effort from Dani Olmo.

Rodrygo reduced the arrears after an error from Spain goalkeeper Unai Simon and Endrick’s snapshot five minutes after coming on at the interval had things all square.

And that's how things finished after Rodri dispatched his second spot-kick of the night and Lucas Paqueta responded in kind deep into stoppage time when Dani Carvajal went flying into substitute Galeno.

MORE: Where to watch Spain vs Brazil

The first meeting between these two international footballing heavyweights for 11 years was one-way traffic during the opening exchanges and Luis de la Fuente's men deservedly led when Joao Gomes felled the brilliant Lamine Yamal and Rodri drilled his penalty down the middle.

Barcelona teenager Lamine Yamal on the right and Athletic Bilbao's Nico Williams roving in off the left caused no end of problems as Rodri, Fabian Ruiz and Dani Olmo kept the hosts ticking irresistibly.

And it was Olmo who produced a picturebook second, nutmegging Lucas Beraldo and sending Bruno Guimaraes hurtling in the wrong direction before dispatching a cool finish.

Brazil had a lifeline when Simon haphazardly passed straight to Rodrygo, allowing the Real Madrid winger to lift into an unguarded net.

Endrick levelled early in the second half and Simon partially atoned for his brainwave with a reaction stop to thwart Rodrygo.

A pleasingly end-to-end game with no little edge continued to unfold. Inside the final five minutes, Lamine Yamal's latest magical contribution looked to have won it. The 16-year-old speared an incredible outside-of-the-foot pass to the under-lapping Carvajal, who was brought down by Beraldo.

Rodri fired into the left corner, sending Bento the wrong way, but Carvajal undid his good work with a brainless effort in his own area. There was an irony in Paqueta, who skirted dangerously on a yellow card at times, being the man to benefit from someone else's indiscretion.

Spain vs Brazil live updates, highlights, and commentary

Fulltime: That was effectively the last kick of the game. And what a game. Six goals, three penalties, several standout performances and a beautiful glimpse into the future from Endrick and the majestic Lamine Yamal. Thanks for joining us.

90th minute+6GOOOOAAAAALLLLL!!!!!! Lucas Paqueta (pen) !!!!!!!!!

Stuttering run-up, Simon sent the wrong way. Paqueta has his 10th international goal and Brazil have a very gutsy draw.

90th minute +5PENALTY TO BRAZIL!!!! Would you credit it? We have third spot kick. Spain can't get a cross clear, Carvajal flies into Galeno and the referee has little choice.

90th minute+1Substitute Sancet lashes into the side netting as Spain try to make the game safe. Lamine Yamal makes way to a standing ovation. Jesus Navas, 22 years his senior, comes on. We're into the first of five added minutes.

89th minute: Lamine Yamal brings the Bernabeu to its feet again with another wonderful dribble. He's been superb.

87th minute: GOOOOOAAAAALLLLL!!!!! Rodri (pen) !!!!!

Bento vs. Rodri pt 2 and the same outcome. The Spain midfielder, who has been typically superb tonight, sends Bento the wrong way and lashes his kick into the left corner.

85th minutePenalty to Spain! Just when it seemed we were meandering towards a draw, Lamine Yamal prizes Brazil apart with an astonishing outside-of-the-foot pass. Carvajal is onto it like a flash and Beraldo bringing him down.

76th minuteEndrick gets in a tangle with Cucurella, kicks out at the Chelsea full-back and is booked. The Spain bench is up in arms but a yellow card feels about right. The 17-year-old keen to show no one will be bullying him out of the game.

71st minute: Vinicius makes way to a standing ovation. Considering the awful spectacle of his tearful press conference, that really is lovely to see. Douglas Luiz into the fray.

70th minute: Another wave of Spain attacking pressure ends with Fabian shooting straight at Bento. Still not changes from De La Fuente.

68th minute: Endrick releases Vinicius but Simon, who is never shy in such situations, comes hurtling out of his area to clear.

65th minute: Beraldo piling forward from the back. He keeps going and smashes a shot high and wide from about 30 yards. Vinicius and Rodrygo telling the PSG defender that  a pass might have been the better option.

59th minute: Lamine Yamal tries a swerving, dipping effort from way downtown that goes wide. That would have been a ridiculous goal. But he's a ridiculous player.

58th minute: Paqueta is booked. My word, he's grafted for that. Spain work the free-kick quickly and Bento denies Olmo.

52nd minuteBrazil almost lead! Rodrygo makes mince meat of Laporte and charges into the box. A fine reflex save from Simon denies him.

50th minuteGOOOOAAAAALLLLL!!!!! Endrick!!!!

The boy wonder has done it again! It takes Endrick a matter of minutes to make his mark at the Santiago Bernabeu. A corner from the left breaks to him, slightly behind him. But the 17-year-old catches the volley sweetly and a deflection takes it beyond Simon.

48th minute: Another rasper from Rodri is deflected behind. Carvajal volleys into the turf from Williams' corner. Bento watches it well and the flag goes up.

46th minute: We're back underway and a raft of Brazil changes includes a second international outing for Endrick.

Halftime: A very entertaining half where, for the most part, Spain have been a class apart. But Unai Simon had one of those brainwaves that he's partial to and it's in the balance. The usual parade of subs might dilute the quality from this point but the hosts were excellent there.

42nd minute: Laporte and Guimaraes have a strong disagreement. A bit of pushing and shoving and both players are booked. It's an enjoyably spiky game.

41st minute: Rodri! Absolutely meets one on the volley. A thunderous hit that Bento keeps out. He did well not to travel into his net with that one.

40th minuteGOOOOOOOAAAAALLLL!!!!!! Rodrygo!!!

Well, well, well. Brazil are back in it and it's a gift, Unai Simon is out of his goal, passes it straight to Rodrygo, who obliges by lobbing into an unguarded net.

36th minuteGOOOOOOOAAAAALLLL!!!!!! Dani Olmo!!!!

Oh, that's delightful, Olmo chops inside Wendell, sends a scampering Guimaraes in entirely the wrong direction and curls home. No more than Spain deserve.

35th minute: Wondering what you have to do to get booked in a friendly? Le Normand scythes into Rodrygo and gets a yellow card. That's the bar, Lucas.

32nd minute: Paqueta, who made the most of some liberal international friendly refereeing against England at the weekend, clumps into the back of Fabian's legs. The Spain midfielder responds by shoving his assailant to the ground. Calm down, everyone.

28th minute: Vinicius tries to pop a pass through for Rodrygo but Carvajal has seen this picture plenty of times before in training and closes the door.

26th minute: Lamine Yamal is an outrage. He twists Joao Gomes all over the place, goes past Wendell and should win a corner off Beraldo as the officials award a goal kick.

24th minute:Olmo's shot is into the wall and the referee awards an indirect free-kick to Brazil for Spain obstructing their defensive barrier. Williams darts back well as Brazil look to launch a swift attack in response.

22nd minute: Brazil with some absolute nonsense to cough possession up to Williams. Guimaraes brings the winger down right on the edge of the area. Olmo and Lamine Yamal like the look of it.

21st minute: Spain break with purpose. Wendell loses his footing and Lamine Yamal is in a dangerous position. His cutback is off the mark, though, behind both Morata and Williams. The latter lays off to Fabian, who curls over from 25 yards.

18th minute: Helped by Cucurella's decoy run around the outside, Williams dances into the Brazil box and pokes wide.

17th minuteChance for Vinicius! Rodrygo gets Brazil moving with a bustling run into the box. He tees up his Madrid team-mate but Vinicius can't get much purchase of a side-footed effort that's straight at Simon.

16th minute: So, Brazil more or less kicked off after that opening goal, gave the ball back to Spain and haven't seen it again. This is vintage stuff. Lamal cuts inside and drags beyond the near post.

12th minuteGOOOOOAAAAAAAAALLLLL!!!! Rodri (pen)!!!!

The captain steps up and slams his kick straight down the middle. Only his second international goal and Spain have a strongly deserved lead.

11th minutePenalty to Spain! Lamine Yamal skips clear of Wendell and Joao Gomes sends the youngster tumbling. The Bernabeu makes representations on behalf of a Barcelona wonderkid and get their wish. A clear penalty. Looks like it'll be Rodri to take.

5th minute: Brazil repel a left-wing corner. Rodri gets Spain going again. The visitors have barely managed to get out of their own half so far.

1st minute: We're underway and Spain are smoothly into their possession game.

10 mins before kickoff: The teams are in the tunnel. It's anthems time and there's a cracking atmosphere inside the Bernabeu.

50 mins before kickoff: This is the Brazil team. Announced, fairly pointedly on their official account, in black and white.

1 hour before kickoff: The teams are in. Here's how the hosts lineup. Nico Williams and Yamine Lamal will flank Alvaro Morata in an exciting front three. Rodri starts at the base of the midfield as captain, with Dani Olmo and Fabian Ruiz carrying the creative burden ahead of the Manchester City star.

2 hours before kickoff: Vinicius is expected to be up against Real Madrid colleague and Spain right-back Dani Carvajal tonight. His Santiago Bernabeu team-mate mate what might most charitably be described as a clumsy intervention into Vinicius' racism ordeal when he addressed reporters on the eve of the match.

"It is an ideal setting and match to face the fight against racism. Vinicius speaks about it with his intimate circle, we help him as much as we can in the dressing room. I don’t think Spain is a racist country, I think we have a very high level of integration. I come from Leganes and I have grown up with kids from all countries. Unfortunately, there are people who go to football to vent their anger. If there is a type of comment that could hurt someone, people go down that avenue."

3 hours before kickoff: Unfortunately, the main topic dominating the pre-match conversation has been the racist abuse suffered by Vinicius while playing in Spain for Real Madrid. At a pre-match news conference the 23-year-old broke down in tears when he discussed how the vile taunts make him feel “less and less” like playing football.

"It never crossed my mind [to leave Spain] because if I leave Spain I give the racists exactly what they want,” he said. I will stay because that way the racists can continue to see my face more and more.

"I'm a bold player, I play for Real Madrid and we win a lot of titles and that doesn't sit well with a lot of people. I just want to play football but it's hard to move forward; I feel less and less like playing."

4 hour before kickoff: If he starts tonight, all eyes will be on Endrick, who has set up his first outing at the Santiago Bernabeu deliciously. The 17-year-old marked his debut as Braizl’s fourth-youngest international of all time with the only goal in a 1-0 win over Wembley on Saturday. The
Palmeiras striker is heading to Real Madrid this summer. The prospect of him lining up alongside Los Blancos stars Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo on their home ground tonight is a mouthwatering one.

5 hours before kickoff: Hello and welcome to The Sporting News' live coverage of the keenly anticipated international friendly between Spain and Brazil at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Spain vs Brazil stats and head-to-head

Remarkably given their prominence in major international tournaments, this was the first meeting between Spain and Brazil in more than a decade.

On that occasion, the Selecao ran out 3-0 winners at the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup, with then-European and world champions Spain brushed aside. Neymar was on the scoresheet and former Fluminense striker Fred scored twice.

Brazil hold sway over a sporadic head to head, where nine meetings span nine decades going back to Spain's win at the 1934 World Cup.
