Matildas World Cup hero goalkeeper Mackenzie Arnold will be absent from the upcoming friendlies on the road against Canada.
Arnold's heroics helped Australia over the line in the penalty shootout against France in the World Cup quarter-finals.
But there will be a different stopper in goal for the matches in North America.

Mackenzie Arnold latest news, injury updates
Arnold will be missing from both of the Matildas' friendlies against Canada because of an arm injury.
The issue was suffered while training for Women's Super League club West Ham on the the weekend prior to the women's international break.
The 29-year-old's arm injury meant she missed West Ham's WSL clash against Arsenal on Monday, November 27 (AEDT).
Arnold's injury is not thought to be severe with West Ham working on her rehabilitation through the international period.
When will Mackenzie Arnold return from injury?
A timeframe hasn't been put on Arnold's return to action with West Ham after being ruled out the Matildas friendlies.
However, Arnold should be available for Australia's Olympics 2024 qualifier two-leg playoff against Uzbekistan to be played on February 24 and February 28.
Who will replace Mackenzie Arnold in the Matildas starting line-up?
Possible Matildas debutant Jada Whyman has been called up into the squad as a replacement for Arnold, but Teagan Micah is expected to be the first-choice in the absence of the usual no.1.
Lydia Williams, who has 103 caps for the Matildas, is also available but is expected to be the second-choice stopper.
