Alexei Popyrin claims first ATP Tour title at Singapore Tennis Open image

Alexei Popyrin has won his maiden ATP Tour title, taking out the Singapore Tennis Open with a three-set win over Alexander Bublik.

The 21-year old lost the first set to the 4th seed, but came back to claim a 4-6 6-0 6-2 victory.

Popyrin now joins Alex de Minaur, Nick Kyrgios, Bernard Tomic and John Millman as the current Aussie players to have an ATP title victory. 


At the recent Australian Open, Popyrin defeated David Goffin in the first round before losing a a five-set battle with Lloyd Harris in the second round.
