New Zealand coach Steve Hansen lauded his team for a "pretty special" performance in their 62-13 thrashing of France at the Rugby World Cup.
Julian Savea scored three tries as the All Blacks ran in nine in the comprehensive quarter-final win at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on Saturday.
While they are already eyeing their last-four clash against South Africa, Hansen said the incredible display deserved praise.
"It was a pretty special performance," he told a news conference.
"We could feel it building, as I said earlier in the week when we named our team.
"There is a difference between pool play and knockout play and obviously knockout rugby creates an edge in itself. If you don't turn up, you go home.
"Tonight we turned up and attitude plays a massive part in any sporting event. It certainly showed tonight. When you couple attitude with talent, you can do certain things."
Savea was the try-scoring hero with his hat-trick and Hansen was full of praise for the wing.
"I am very proud of him," Hansen said.
"He has showed today what he is capable of and that is a combination of Julian himself and a lot of other people who operate within the team that people wouldn't know if they walked in here.
"But they do such a massive job and we are very thankful for that."
The All Blacks and Springboks do battle in their semi-final at Twickenham on October 24.
