Former Melbourne Storm winger Marika Koroibete is continuing to justify his decision to switch codes after another promising performance for the Wallabies against Argentina.

The 25-year-old bagged his second try in only three games for the green and gold as he somehow kept his balance down the left wing and planted the ball down in the corner for the opening try of the night.
Though that five-pointer sparked the Pumas to life, the Wallabies took control of the match in the final 20 minutes to secure a 37-20 win which secured them a second-placed finish in the Rugby Championship.
After debuting off the bench against Argentina last month, Koroibete is quickly winning once skeptical rugby fans over with some strong tackling and an uncanny ability to find the try-line.
I wasn’t confident when Koroibete switched codes. But for a bloke with a year experience under his belt, I’m starting to believe. #ARGvAUS

Koroibete is what the wallabies have been missing on the wing both attack and defence #ARGvAUS

Koroibete is a better convert than Folau #ARGvAUS

Super Koroibete finish then bad read on defence to set up Argentina counter attack. Expect more of that as he develops. #ARGvAUS

The Wallabies have tried a few good wing prospects over recent years. Marika Koroibete looks the best to me. #ARGvAUS

How good is that from Marika Koroibete. Looks the goods.

Born in Fiji, Koroibete started his NRL career with Wests Tigers in 2012 before a move to the Storm in 2014.
Midway through 2016, Koroibete announced his intent to switch to rugby in 2017 signing a deal with the Melbourne Rebels.
In a predictably tough season for the Rebels in which they claimed just one win and finisedh bottom of the Australian conference, Koroibete still managed to catch the eye crossing for 6 tries from 14 appearances.
