It was the best possible start to the decider for the Aussies with Shannon Parry crossing over down the left inside two minutes to give the green and gold a 5-0 lead.

Australia would then double their lead after the half-time siren had sounded through Charlotte Caslick as they took a 10-0 advantage into the break following a strong first half.

With all the momentum, Ellia Green, Vani Pelite and Emma Sykes would cross for further tries in the second half as Australia wrapped up a dominant 31-0 win.

Remarkably, the result means the Aussies didn't concede a point all tournament while scoring 213 points of their own across their six games.
