What is the Six Nations Championship?

The Six Nations Championship is an annual international men's rugby union competition, contested between the teams of Wales, France, England, Scotland, Ireland, and Italy.

Wales are the current champions, following their victory in 2021.

England and Wales have won the championship the most times, both with 39 titles.

Since the Six Nations era began in 2000, Italy and Scotland are the only nations to have failed to win the title.

Developed in 1883, it is the oldest international rugby tournament in the world and includes men's, women's and U20s competitions.
