Australia scored five tries to claim an all-important bonus point in a 34-14 win over Portugal in Saint-Etienne, keeping their Rugby World Cup hopes alive by the slimmest of margins going into the last round of pool stage matches.
Although Portugal scored the first try of the match, the Wallabies rallied with three of their own before the break, forwards Rory Arnold, Dave Porecki and Angus Bell all barging their way over from close range.
Fraser McReight's score early in the second period secured the bonus point which keeps Australia in the competition, and after Portugal crossed themselves to close the gap to 29-14, Marika Koroibete popped up in the corner to dot down try number five.
The victory leaves Australia a solitary point ahead of Fiji in the Pool C standings, and from here, Eddie Jones' side must now await their fate, with Fiji only needing to take one point from their clash against Portugal to send the Wallabies home.
Here's how the Wallabies rated out of 10 in the match:

Wallabies player ratings against Portugal
15. Andrew Kellaway — 7
His constant link-up play with Nawaqanitawase set up several half-breaks down the right-hand side, and his kicks out of hand consistently found grass. His biggest contribution came in defence though, sliding across in desperate cover to take Nicholas Martins over the sideline and deny Portugal a certain try.
14. Mark Nawaqanitawase — 6
Frequently combined with Kellaway to open up Portugal down the right-hand side, and another of these offloads came up trumps as he sent Foketi away on the break that led to the Wallabies' third try. As ever, Nawaqanitawase drifted in-field looking for work, and was solid both under the high ball and on kick returns.
13. Izaia Perese — 6
Slightly shaken after he came off worse in a yellow card-worthy hit from his opposite number Bettencourt, but dusted himself off to pop up constantly in wide channels, and made a searing 60-metre break off a McDermott short ball before heading off for a HIA on 55 mins.
12. Lalakai Foketi — 6
Burst into the back-field off Nawaqanitawase's offload and used his support runners well to set the Wallabies' third try into motion. In the second half, he was lucky to avoid a yellow card after taking Marques high, but made up for the error by pulling off a chop tackle out wide as Portugal threatened to open the Wallabies up in wide areas.
11. Marika Koroibete — 7
One powerful human being both in and out of possession, Koroibete flew out of the line to make mincemeat of both Appleton and Guedes. This defence and some strong carrying continued throughout, and he put the icing on the Wallabies' win with their fifth try in the left corner.
10. Ben Donaldson — 6
His decision to kick an early penalty was met with jeers by the crowd, but his steady hand at fly-half helped the Wallabies' attack to function well for the full 80 minutes. He missed another attempt at goal, but nailed three of his five conversions, missing both attempts from out wide in the second half.
9. Tate McDermott — 6
Tried to put his stamp on the game but was sometimes caught in possession. His box-kicking was somewhat inconsistent, but he was always there to ensure the Wallabies generated quick ball to their outside backs.
1. Angus Bell — 8
Another big-minutes performance from the prop, who put in a huge shove to win an early scrum penalty. Brought his power to the breakdown and won more penalties on the floor, carrying with strength in the loose and bulldozing under the sticks from close range to score his side's third try.
2. Dave Porecki — 8
Captained the side once again and was solid at every set-piece. Grounded the ball from the back of a strong line-out maul to get Wallabies' second try, and was also heavily involved in the third. Taken off for Faessler after 55 minutes, but temporarily returned after the replacement hooker was sin-binned and made a crucial tackle on Marta out wide as Portugal rallied late on.
3. James Slipper — 7
Became Australia's leading appearance maker at the Rugby World Cup, as well as the most-capped prop of all time, and put in another solid performance in the unfamiliar position of tighthead. Came off on 46 minutes, but returned in place of the injured Fa'amausili for the final 5.
4. Nick Frost — 6
Picked up an early injury but soldiered on through to remain Porecki's main target at line-out time. Was also fairly active in the loose before coming off at half-time.
5. Richie Arnold — 6
Fantastic support run to take Valetini's offload and crash over for first try. Often looked to poke his nose through the line with the ball, and was rock-solid at the set-piece for 77 minutes.
6. Tom Hooper — 6
Led the Wallabies' kick chase and fronted up brilliantly in defence, forming a strong partnership with McReight as they teamed up at both the breakdown and when taking carries.
7. Fraser McReight — 7
Hunted in a pack alongside Hooper and made his presence felt at almost every breakdown. Popped up on the right-hand side to dive over in the corner for the bonus-point try. Latched onto a loose Portugal line-out allowing Donaldson to get the Wallabies out of trouble, and was taken off after an hour to allow for Porecki's return with his side down to 14.
8. Rob Valetini — 7
Arguably Australia's biggest ball carrier, and powered through from close range to set up first try. Went off to the blood bin on 22 mins but returned 10 later and stayed on for the rest of the game, showing great athleticism to act as both a brutish battering ram and a silky playmaker.
Replacements:
16. Matt Faessler — 5 - On for last 25 mins. Sin-binned for hauling down a Portuguese maul short of the line, but luckily for the Wallabies the try it led to was overturned.
17. Blake Schoupp — N/A - On for final 5 mins, replacing Bell but not having much chance to make an impact.
18. Pone Fa'amausili — 6 - Replaced Slipper 46 mins into the contest. Saved a certain Portugal try with a ball-dislodging tackle right on the line, but later lost the ball in contact to gift Portugal a scrum, and had to go off again with five to go.
19. Rob Leota — 6 - Temporarily replaced Valetini on 22 mins, and returned in Frost's place at half-time to continue the starter's solid job at the front of the line out.
20. Josh Kemeny — N/A - Replaced Arnold on 77 mins. Did little prior to full-time.
21. Issak Fines-Leleiwasa — 6 - On for the last 10 minutes, and helped provide the quick-ball necessary for Koroibete to score his side's fifth try. Often looked to run from dummy-half and almost broke through on two occasions.
22. Samu Kerevi — 6 - Late pre-match replacement for injured Carter Gordon and entered in place of Perese with 25 to go. Never afraid to carry the ball out of trouble, but an illegally-raised forearm saw the 14-man Wallabies reduced to 13! Came back on to bust his way through the gain-line and into the 22, sparking the Wallabies' fifth try.
23. Suliasi Vunivalu — 5 - Replaced Kellaway for final 10 mins, carried well but couldn't find much in the way of space.
