The Storm have a knack for unearthing talent, and Tyran Wishart is yet another example of that.
After two full seasons at the club, the 24-year-old has made a major jump in 2024.
Cameron Munster's injury struggles this year have seen Wishart start 11 matches in the halves.
He has also played a key role off the bench, acting as a 'third playmaker' and carving teams open late in games.

Despite finishing the regular season with a career-high 12 tries and four try assists, the Melbourne utility doesn't view himself as a candidate for the unofficial 'most improved player' title.

"I think there are plenty of players that have come out of the woodwork [in 2024]."

Instead, he advocated for a former teammate and upcoming opponent.
"A good example is Daniel Atkinson. I think he's been playing outstanding (sic) for the Sharks," he said.

"I think he would probably get the crown."
Notably, Cronulla's two of Cronulla's halves – Atkinson and Nicho Hynes – both played for Melbourne before moving to the Shire.
Atkinson has come on in leaps and bounds since taking on five-eighth duties for a large chunk of the current season.
However, just like Wishart, he will be utilised off the bench on Saturday afternoon at AAMI Park.
