Last month, the NRL announced that The Kid LAROI would be the musical act performing at the grand final, with the featuring of a bona fide homegrown musical superstar delighting many.
LAROI, a Sydney-born rapper and singer now based in Los Angeles, will return to Australia as part of the tour for his new album THE FIRST TIME, and has been chosen to perform at the biggest game of the year for a league he's followed all his life, as a diehard Rabbitohs fan.
As part of this tour, LAROI will be joined by controversial rap group Onefour, prompting many to wonder if Sydney's realest will be making an appearance at rugby league's most important day.

Will Onefour play at the NRL Grand Final?
While nothing has been officially confirmed, many believe that The Kid LAROI will bring out Onefour at the NRL grand final, with the group currently part of his Australian tour.
Speaking to the Jimmy & Nath Happy Hour this week, LAROI was asked if he was planning on bringing the group out during his performance, and while he didn't verbally confirm anything, his poker face gave a lot away.
"It's hard to answer," said LAROI through laughter.
"I think in general, we have a lot of cool things planned, I'm trying to plan some cool stuff, make it special.
"I'm obviously really stoked to be doing [the grand final], I'm trying to make it as special as possible."
The group, who originated in Western Sydney, are a favourite of many NRL teams, particularly the Penrith Panthers.
However, Panthers star Jarome Luai was investigated by the NRL integrity unit in 2022 after posting a TikTok rapping to one of the group's songs.
The group also has a history of being prevented from performing in both Australia and New Zealand; LAROI made headlines in 2022 when he brought Onefour out at a Sydney show, the first time they were allowed to properly perform since 2019 due to extensive police intervention.
However, with the group now permitted to tour with LAROI, public opinion seems to have shifted on Onefour, and it would be no shock to see them on stage come the NRL grand final - which could be made all the more special if the Panthers are successful in qualifying for their fifth straight title match.
