Will NSW Blues wear their navy jersey? Latest updates on controversial State of Origin strip image

There was plenty of controversy last year when the New South Wales Blues sported an alternate navy jersey for Game 1 of State of Origin.

The darker strip had already been worn during the 2019 and 2020 series, but purists were, understandably, pushing for a return to the iconic light blue strip.

Unfortunately for NSW, it wasn't a good night in their 2023 navy jersey, falling to Queensland 26-18 in Adelaide.

Will they revert to their traditional colours this time around?

Will the NSW Blues wear their navy jersey?

The navy NSW jersey isn't set to be worn during the 2024 State of Origin series.

Michael Maguire's side will sport the traditional light blue jerseys in all three games.

Don't just watch the game, live it! Head to Sports Bar at The Star Sydney for your next NRL game night.

The Blues have an official Indigenous jersey this year but it will only be worn during select training sessions.
